provides a comprehensive array of services designed to assist low-income people
in achieving self sufficiency. These services are typically available to
families who meet an income guideline. While many people familiar with NEK-CAP
associate the programs with the head of services to people of all ages. For more

Head Start Programs:
Early Head Start: Early head start (EHS)
is a program that provides in-home support to families in education and
nurturing their children. Early Head Start serves expectant families and those

Head Start: Head Start is a
comprehensive child development program which serves children from birth to age
5, pregnant women and their families. Head Start welcomes parent involvement in
Head Start activities, and will work as partners with parents to help their
