Workforce Investment Act (WIA)

Is a federally funded program designed to help qualified youth ages 14 to 21 with education, career exploration, on the job training, job skill development and employment. Employers get an opportunity to work with youth before making a hiring commitment. WIA also offers GED classes to obtain a Kansas State High School Diploma.
