Beginning in July 2010, Lincoln Center, along with Excel Development Corporation, began the construction of 24 affordable, independent, senior living units for individuals aged 55 and over who meet income guidelines set by Federal HOME regulations. Construction was completed in July, 2011.
Each of the units is approximately 1,000 square feet and includes two bedrooms, one bath, and an attached single garage. Each unit has a safe room, energy efficient appliances including washer and dryer and is handicapped accessible. The units are maintenance free and all snow removal, lawn care, and repairs are taken care of by the management. A community room with a small kitchen is available to the residents and their families.
